As a laboratory, there are three ways that you can deploy DDX.
DDX enabled Lab Management Software for integration with your lab management software and access to full DDX functionality (current supported lab management software: ABS Evolution, Labtrac, Labnet Silver, Labnet Gold, Labnet Platinum, and Magic Touch Software).
DDX Case Manager for Labs
DDX Case Sending Only
Here are the important differences between these options to consider so that you deploy the version that best meets your objectives:
DDX enabled Lab Management Software
DDX submitted cases are automatically entered into your lab management software and scheduled, eliminating data entry and instantly providing the doctor their case return date which is based off your real time production schedule.
Digital files, case notes, etc that submitted by the practice are automatically attached to the case within your lab management software.
Practices may access their account balances, statements and invoices if your lab enables these features.
DDX integration with your DDX enabled lab management software has specific setup requirements within the lab management software. If you are unsure what these requirements are or how to address them, please contact us at 800-565-0923.
DDX Case Manager for Labs
Is a web based solution accessible from a standard web browser anywhere and at anytime.
Does not require a specific lab management software.
Can be setup quickly setup and deployed for easy access to DDX.
Case scheduling is limited to fixed turnaround times.
DDX Case Sending Only
Choose this option if you only plan to send case work to other DDX labs and not receive case work via DDX.
Is a web based solution accessible from a standard web browser anywhere and at anytime.
Does not require a specific lab management software.

Regardless of whether you deploy the DDX enabled Lab Management Software or DDX Case Manager for Labs, your doctors will be able to access your lab from DDX enabled practice management software, or through a standard Internet browser. DDX Case Sending Only will not allow your customers to send you case work via DDX.
